Nees Racing --- Going V8!
Nees Racing are a Kaiapoi family enjoying the exciting world of preparing and racing dirt track cars. Roger Nees first started into speedway around 1982 and Pam began getting behind the wheel in 1989.

Although speedway has always been thought of as a place for big V8's and large cars we have achieved great success over the years with smaller front wheel drive cars.

We pride ourselves on top presentation of the whole team, from the car and its preparation to the crew uniforms and pit gear. We have aimed our speedway careers at entertaining and providing giveaways & prizes for the youngsters among the crowd. We always have something to give away through the kindness of our sponsors. We have provided lollies during the grand parade each night for many years and we have also been able to pass out team merchandise such as plastic drink bottles, trays, cups, keyrings and even frisbees.

Team posters are always popular and we always enjoy signing them for the race fans in the pits after the meeting. All this ensures the team and our sponsors are always getting noticed.

We had a brief foray into Superstock racing (which I would have liked to continue) and recently been privileged to have the use of a Corvette Super Saloon from the Boulton Racing Team. This sudden V8 attraction has led to the purchase of a Corvette Super Saloon so keep an eye on our progress and keep a look out for Nees Racing next time you come to speedway.
