Located within the confines of Woodhill forestry on 1,000 acres of sand based terrain offering year round, all weather, off road riding facilities.

The Kawasaki Sandpit never closes due to inclement weather. In fact, the more rain the better as surface conditions compact to give a firm, safe and exhilarating ride.

As of the beginning of August 2007 the old Woodhill Bike Park, as it was once known, has become "The Kawasaki Sandpit" with co sponsors Kiwi Rider Magazine, Silkolene motor oils and Star Insurance (motorcycles only) forming an alliance that has seen the old motorbike riding playground transformed into an Off road riders dream. Since taking over the reigns at the beginning of July 07, the new lease owners, aided by a willing team of volunteers consisting of family, friends and members of the Waitemata MCC and Rodney MCC have been working tirelessly, grooming tracks and pruning growth to provide for an environment which encourages riders of all abilities back to the mecca of Woodhill forest.

The new office, parking, sign on area and children only tracks have been re located to Molloy Rd with most of the existing tracks and bike riding area still retained.
