The Skippers Canyon ride is regarded as one of New Zealand's top downhill mountain bike tracks!

We drive you to the top of the ride, take in the spectacular scenery, then its on ya bike and let gravity take over.  There is a choice of routes.  Option one for the more hardcore riders is the full-on Pack Track built by the original gold miners back in the 1860's.  Option 2 is to take the infamous Skippers 4wd single lane road - still with some very scenic and heart pounding drops down to the river below - but much less intense and suitable for less confident off-road riders.  We follow you down the road with our van and then drive you back to the top of the run so that now that you know the trail, you can really let rip on your second run.
