Ryan was born in San Clemente, CA and still calls the Southern California beach city home. It was at the tender age of eighteen months that he first stepped foot on a skateboard. Soon after entering contests at a young age, he started winning them. By age thirteen, Ryan was pro for World Industries and had taken home an X-Games gold medal. He has since dominated the contest circuit and continues to be one of the outstanding forces to reckon with.

• Any last words? Yes, I'd like to thank my family, they have always supported me and they make a lot of sacrifices for my skateboarding, especially all the travel.
