Boomerang Ski Club is located on the Whakapapa side of Mt Ruapehu in the Iwikau Village.

The club was formed in 1958 and opened in August of 1962 and has a primary focus on maintaining a friendly, family-orientated ski club. The club has capacity to sleep 23 people, and maintains a membership list of around 200.
