Heida Birgisdottir started up Nikita Clothing a while back so that she could have sweet clothes to wear after she got done riding at her local mountain in Iceland. With styles ranging from apre attire to hot date night dresses, Heida definitely filled our need for a unique streetwear line.

The first outerwear collection from Nikita includes 4 jackets and 3 pants, ranging from 3,000mm-15,000mm. All pieces will include varying levels of technical features including stormflaps, handwarmer pockets, waterproof zippers, removable powder skirts and hoods, Tricot and moisture wicking lining and pit-zips.  As a standard feature all pieces will come equipped with fully taped seams and waterproof zippers.  Jackets will have removable powder skirts. Of course, Nikita Outerwear is designed specifically For Girls Who Ride, by a girl who rides, so it’s all street legal as well.

“I wanted to create a line that would technically perform at all levels of snowboarding, but would still have all of the cuts, colors and details that make everything look far better then your average snowboarding fit,” adds Birgisdottir. “We worked hard to make sure our first collection meets function with style, head-on.”
