Australia’s biggest-selling magazine for enthusiasts of modified and high performance cars now has a New Zealand edition. The brand-new New Zealand Auto Salon Magazine goes on sale with the November issue and will be in major magazine outlets from 27 October.
With an unbeatable reputation for delivering in-depth features and fantastic imagery of the best street style, performance and show cars, Auto Salon Magazine also provides the latest news on related motorsports from circuits, drag strips and drifting competitions around New Zealand, Australia and the rest of the world. The New Zealand edition will feature the full editorial content from each month’s international edition complemented by stories and images of top local cars, and local news and advertisers.

Auto Salon Magazine pioneered DIY-style automotive guides in Australia, showing the installation of specific products in an easy to follow step-by-step guide. The magazine also shows fans ‘how to build’ street cars, drift cars, drag cars, show cars and circuit cars. Drawing inspiration from fashion magazines, Auto Salon Magazine also features regular price guides for well-known ‘hero cars’, providing readers with detailed information about the parts and accessories used, how much they cost and where they can be purchased from.
Since Auto Salon Magazine’s inception in Australia in 2002, it’s been the fastest growing men’s title in that market. The magazine has never been sold in New Zealand before, but the Australian publishers ran the highly successful Auto Salon shows in New Zealand for four years through to 2007, attracting crowds in excess of 50,000 people to the three venues each year.
New Zealand Auto Salon Magazine is published under license by Adrenalin Publishing, a specialist automotive and business magazine publisher on Auckland’s North Shore.
