Jaime Alguersuari and Red Bull Racing the first in the world to run a Formula 1 on sand, in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. Red Bull Formula Santo Domingo, the biggest motorsport event ever to be presented in the Dominican Republic, keeps breaking records. After 200,000 Dominicans gathered to watch the Red Bull Racing Show Run, the next day the car reached over 180 kilometers per hour on sand in Juanillo Beach Cap Cana, a feat never seen before in this sport. 

And with this, Jaime Alguersuari, the youngest F1 pilot, becomes the first driver in history to achieve it. "I am very happy and excited," said the Spaniard minutes after racing down 400 meters of the beach coast. "I want to thank all the Red Bull team for helping me be the first to achieve this challenge", he added.
 
The Red Bull Racing team had been searching for the perfect location to have a beach run for four years, and they found it now in this beautiful Caribbean beach in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic.
