Red Bull Road Trip - BMX Style! |

Summer is finally here. And to celebrate RedBull Specialops team decided to take eight BMX riders around the central north Island for a great weekend away. The riders were George Bolter, Louis Bolter, Mike Lawrence, Fraser West, Tim White.
A great way to describe this trip would be from the mouth of Tim White "We went on a killer road trip all weekend with Red Bull.. Its was rad as hell and was definitely a good time, we toured around the central north island riding as many skate parks as possible, some serious shredding went down, also plenty of chilling, fish'n'chips, drinking Red Bull's and partying.
Further observations from the trip were as follows...Frazer was the best at getting the bikes secured on the roof and he had it dialled, he also rode the most out of everyone, good work young buck. Tim was the most entertaining and knows the most quotes from the movie “RAD”, I also learned he goes by the nickname “Maverick” at work, as in Top Gun, enough said. Mike D drank way more than the recommended daily intake of Red Bull and made a very impressive Wizard Staff - don't try that at home.
Mike L had the most outfits but chose the wrong day to swim in his only shorts and then had to wear jeans on the hottest day. Jono’s bandana did nothing, it just hung out on his head but his hair was still in his eyes - I think it was for good luck cause he rode really good the whole time.
Lewis killed every spot we went to, even the ones where “he didn’t feel like riding” he killed them anyway. He was also the only person who played video games on the trip. George, who is a recent addition to the Red Bull family, is a machine! He too killed every spot and he did flips again when the photographer messed up the photo and we knew he didn’t really want to do them again.
