Boys Day Out Hits Hamilton!
Saturday, 27 February 2010 04:45

Hey crew

Get out your pretty colouring pencils and mark the calendar! The weekend of March 13th and 14th is set to be one of the biggest for lifestyle sports to ever go down in NZ. If your any where near Mystery Creek in Hamilton I'll be personally offended if I dont see you at this event!

Liston Borrie has the skills to pay the bills

Boys Day Out is fast approaching and will prove to be a weekend not to miss with 48 hours of every single alternative sport you can imagine from rally car racing to strong man competitions. Check out http://www.boysdayout.co.nz for more details but in the mean time heres a sample of what your in for:

RUN FMX has jumped on board to bring you the first ever Boys Day Out FMX Invitational! We have assembled 6 of NZ's greatest Freestyle Motox riders to compete for the gold and of course the cash in the first of what will be an epic annual bout to find a true FMX Champion.

OZ ripper Adam Bayard is crossing the ditch to compete

NZ Riders incude all of your favourite North Island talents: Josh Thomson, Liston Borrie, Ryan Laskey and Adam Camplin. Callum Shaw is also making the huge trek from Invercargill to compete, and my boy Adam Bayard is making the trip all the way from sunny Australia to throw down against NZ's best!

2 days of intense competition will determine the Boys Day Out FMX Champ with 6 rounds total for each rider to survive. We are also throwing in a whip comp and best trick comp each day for your viewing pleasure. Heres the best part: the entire FMX comp will be judged by YOU via a txt voting system - so make sure you get there!

Josh Thomson is guaranteed to impress

On top of all that there will be spot prizes, freebies, autograph sessions with the riders and too much more to list.

Come and say hi at the first ever Boys Day Out FMX Invitational bought to you by RUN FMX.

Adam Camplin has something to prove in his first comp

Callum Shaw is driving 1000kms to join us!

Nick Franklin claims FMX Battle Title!
Monday, 25 January 2010 08:06
The champion title for New Zealand’s first ever FMX battle-style competition has been won by Kiwi Red Bull rider Nick Franklin. Wanganui hosted the event as part of its annual Race Week, and it has been said to be the coolest Australasian competition of the year. The fight was tough as Red Bull rider, Franklin, and Australian rider, Kain Saul, battled it out in the final on Monday evening. Saul, who is Australia’s current reigning champ, fought hard against Franklin in the final head-to-head battle, but Franklins smooth fluent style and technical tricks saw him claim the New Zealand number one spot in the sport of Freestyle Motocross (FMX).
