After winning gold in the Slalom earlier in the week, New Zealand Chef de Mission Jon Turnbull is pleased with Hall’s result in the scheme of what he has ahead of him.

“He’s not ranked high in Super-G so this was a credible result and sets him up well for the Super Combined tomorrow,” said Turnbull.

Hall will race in the Super Combined on Sunday (New Zealand time) which combines times of one Super G run and one Slalom run.

A large number of races have been brought forward a day as a result of predicted bad weather set to hit the Whistler ski fields.
